A Singular Plea in Prayer

THIS was one of David’s sayings: “I said.” It was a saying that was worth saying, and it is worth re-saying: “I said, Lord, be merciful unto me.” How often he said it, we do not know; the oftener, the better. There is no day too bright for saying it, and there is no night too dark for saying it.
