Faith Justifying Speech

SOME translators render this passage, “I believed, though I have spoken as I have done,” for the psalmist had spoken words suggestive of unbelief. But, although he had spoken unwisely and unbelievingly, yet, deep down in his heart, he did still believe in his God.
