He Shall be Great

STRICTLY speaking, I suppose these words refer to the human nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is as to his humanity that Christ was born of Mary. The context runs thus— “Behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
