The Common Salvation

JUDE says, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you.” The apostle did not write for writing’s sake, and in this he sets us an example: we are not to speak for speaking’s sake, nor even to preach for preaching’s sake.
