The Statute of David for the Sharing of the Spoil
1 Samuel 30:21-25
THOSE who associate themselves with a leader must share his fortunes. Six hundred men had quitted their abodes in Judæa; unable to endure the tyranny of Saul they had linked themselves with David, and made him to be a captain over them.
