BEYOND all controversy, this is a most remarkable text. Zeal is an attribute which is attributable to man; but we do not often think or speak of the zeal of the Lord of Hosts. At first sight, it might seem to be a word misplaced: God’s zeal, the divine arm, the fervency of the Infinite.
