1 Chronicles 8
Verse 1
Now Benjamin 1 begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
He continues in the description of the tribe of Benjamin, because his purpose is to set forth the genealogy of Saul.
Verse 6
And these are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and 1 they removed them to Manahath:
Meaning, the inhabitants of the city of Geba.
Verse 7
And Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and 1 begat Uzza, and Ahihud.
That is, Ehud.
Verse 8
And Shaharaim begat children in the country of Moab, after he had sent them 1 away; Hushim and Baara were his wives.
After he had put away his two wives.
Verse 28
These were heads of the 1 fathers, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
The chief of the tribe of Benjamin, who dwelt in Jerusalem.
Verse 33
And 1 Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and 2 Eshbaal.
Who in is called Abiel.
He is likewise called Mephibosheth,
Verse 34
And the son of Jonathan was 1 Meribbaal; and Meribbaal begat Micah.
He is also called Mephibosheth,
