Verse 9
When this history was first written: not when it was reviewed by Ezra, who made some additions to it; for after the return from Babylon neither staves nor ark were any more seen or heard of.

According to David’s appointment, 1 Chron. 24:0; 1 Chron. 25:0, which was only for the ordinary service; but in extraordinary solemnities, such as this eminently was they all came together.
