Exodus 36

Introduction

Ex. 36 Moses comitteth the work to Bezaleel and Aholiab Ex. 36:1–4. The liberality of the people is forbid Ex. 36:5–6. The curtains of cherubims, Ex. 36:8–13. The curtains of goats’ hair, &c. all belonging to the tabernacle, Ex. 36:14–38

Verse 1

Moses comitteth the work to Bezaleel and Aholiab Ex. 36:1–4. The liberality of the people is forbid Ex. 36:5–6. The curtains of cherubims, Ex. 36:8–13. The curtains of goats’ hair, &c. all belonging to the tabernacle, Ex.

Verse 2

God had qualified them before, but that is not sufficient without a call.

Verse 3

Which time they chose as the first and best part of the day, and therefore for fittest for God’s service.

The women did part of this work as well as the men. See Ex. 35:25

To wit, the second veil, which separated between the holy place and the holy of holies, because the first veil is described Ex. 36:37
