Psalm 11
Verse 1
In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, 1 Flee as a bird to your mountain?
This is the wicked counsel of his enemies to him and his companions to drive him from the hope of God's promise.
Verse 3
If the 1 foundations be destroyed, what can the 2 righteous do?
All hope of help is taken away.
Yet am I innocent and my cause good.
Verse 4
The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes 1 behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
Though all things in earth are out of order, yet God will execute judgment from heaven.
Verse 6
Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, 1 fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the 2 portion of their cup.
As in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Which they will drink even to the dregs,
