Proverbs 15
Verse 6
In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is 1 trouble.
For though they have much yet it is full of trouble and care.
Verse 8
The 1 sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
That thing is abominable before God, which the wicked think to be most excellent, and by which they think most to be accepted.
Verse 10
Correction is grievous to him that 1 forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.
He who swears from the word of God, cannot stand to be admonished.
Verse 11
1 Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?
There is nothing so deep or secret that can be hid from the eyes of God, much less man's thoughts.
Verse 19
The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of 1 thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.
That is, he always finds some hinderance or stay, and dares not go forward.
Verse 22
Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but 1 in the multitude of counsellors they are established.

A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken 1 in due season, how good it is!
If we will that our talk be comfortable, we must wait for time and season.
Verse 26
The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are 1 pleasant words.
That is, wholesome and profitable to the hearers.
Verse 31
The ear that heareth the 1 reproof of life abideth among the wise.
That suffers himself to be admonished by God's word, which brings life: and so amends.
Verse 33
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is 1 humility.
Meaning, that God exalts no one but them that are truly humbled.
