Psalm 9

Introduction

In this psalm, I. David praises God for pleading his cause, and giving him victory over his enemies and the enemies of his country , and calls upon others to join with him in his songs of praise, Ps. 9:11–12. II.

Verses 1–10

Devout Acknowledgments. To the chief musician upon Muth-labben. A psalm of David. 1 I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvellous works. 2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

Verses 11–20
